A day inside the house

There is no schedule. Only a rhythm, arranged around your hours and your mood.

These times suggest one possible day, never a set program.

Morning

08:30 am

Coffee in the library

The day begins quietly. Newspapers, a first coffee, the oak-paneled library slowly filling with light from the garden.

Morning in the garden

Breakfast outside while La Villa wakes quietly around you. A long table laid on the terrace, the morning unhurried. The garden sets the pace.

Midday

12:30 pm

A swim before lunch

A few lengths, then lunch. The chef creates the menu around fresh produce from the Windsor market, just across the street, and what you feel like eating.

Afternoon

04:00 pm

Work in the study

A call taken in confidence, papers read in peace. The study becomes a private office with garden views and no interruptions.

Late afternoon

06:00 pm

Into Paris, and back home

A car at the gate, then Frank Gehry's glass ship at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. Late afternoon light, and the walk home through the trees. The garden, the pool, a massage, or simply time to yourself at home.

Evening

Dinner at home

Dinner prepared at the house, with the evening entirely your own. Dinner follows your rhythm, whether it is just the family or a table of guests. The dining room is lit for twelve or for two.
